Un fantasy in costume, tutto al femminile, ambientato nell\u2019 Italia del XVII secolo, che prende le mosse quando, in seguito alla morte di un neonato, una levatrice sedicenne viene accusata di stregoneria. Trovato rifugio in una misteriosa comunit\u00e0 di donne al limitare del bosco, la ragazza \u00e8 costretta a fare una scelta tra l\u2019amore impossibile per il figlio del capo dei cacciatori di streghe e l\u2019adempimento del suo vero destino, una minaccia per il mondo in cui vive, diviso tra ragione e misticismo. Non si conoscono i nomi delle donne bruciate vive perch\u00e9 accusate di stregoneria, n\u00e9 il loro numero esatto. La loro strage non viene insegnata nei libri di storia. \u201cCaccia alle streghe\u201d \u00e8 un\u2019 espressione che evoca paura perch\u00e9 si riferisce alla persecuzione di persone non per ci\u00f2 che hanno fatto, ma per ci\u00f2 che sono. Non le hanno rappresentate come vittime perch\u00e9, sostengono Comencini, Nicchiarelli e Randi, sono perseguitate forse pi\u00f9 per la loro forza che per la loro debolezza. Una forza di cui loro stesse non sono consapevoli, e che, a mano a mano che il racconto procede, imparano a riconoscere e a usare.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Da dove viene la magia?
