E l&#8217;ha vinta il regista John Landis, che al Festival del Film di Roma ha presentato in anteprima mondiale il suo <em>Burke &amp; Hare<\/em>, una commedia macabra, con due immigrati irlandesi imbroglioni che per far soldi vendono cadaveri. Siamo nella Edimburgo del Diciannovesimo secolo, centro della ricerca medica, con i dottori delle universit\u00e0 che cercano disperatamente corpi umani per le loro lezioni di anatomia. Intorno a questo allucinante scenario si dipana la gustosa commedia che il regista americano \u00e8 tornato a girare in Inghilterra, sfruttando e rivisitando alla sua ironica maniera una storia vera molto sinistra, dai toni raccapriccianti, conferendole grande stile e arguzia. Il risultato \u00e8 un divertente horror-comico che l\u2019autore del mitico&nbsp;<em>The Blues Brothers<\/em> ha affidato a un eccezionale cast inglese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019intraprendente William Hare (Handy Serkis) e il suo socio William Burke (Simon Pegg), due squattrinati imbroglioni da strapazzo, quando ricevono dal dottor Knox (Tim Wilkinson) la richiesta di cadaveri \u201cfreschi\u201d si rendono conto che sar\u00e0 la una grossa fonte di profitti. Quando Burke si invaghisce di una bella attrice (Isla Fisher) e decide di finanziarle uno spettacolo teatrale, i due cercheranno di ampliare al massimo la loro macabra impresa andando a caccia di \u201cmateria prima\u201d, pronti a procurarsela con ogni mezzo.&nbsp; Quando Barnaby Thompson, capo degli Ealing Studios londinesi specializzati in questo genere di film, ha ricevuto la sceneggiatura, \u00e8 rimasto molto colpito dal soggetto. \u00abCredevo ci fosse qualcosa di meravigliosamente perverso \u2013 racconta &#8211; nell\u2019 idea che Edimburgo, la capitale medica del mondo, avesse bisogno di cadaveri per alimentare la macchina della ricerca scientifica\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c8 difficile oggi trovare storie in cui i cattivi diventano i buoni e in questo copione c\u2019era la giusta nuance. A Landis \u00e8 subito piaciuto. Burke e Hare sono una sorta di moderni Stanlio e Ollio. \u00abNella realt\u00e0 invece \u2013 spiega Landis -, erano due assassini che uccidevano a sangue freddo, come Jack lo squartatore, si fanno veri e propri tour giudati&nbsp;per visitare i luoghi dove sono vissuti\u00bb. Per rendere al massimo le atmosfere dell\u2019epoca ha girato tra Londra, le tre vecchie vie rimaste e il vero castello di Edimburgo, durante uno degli inverni pi\u00f9 rigidi del Regno Unito, con temperature sottozero, piogge torrenziali che, sottolinea il regista, \u00abNella Edimburgo del 1828 questo render\u00e0 tutto magnifico!\u00bb&nbsp;A chi gli chiede come mai i film horror e le commedie difficilmente vengano premiate ai festival, risponde: \u00abSpesso sono film di serie B, fatti solo per incassare. I critici poi sono presuntuosi.&nbsp;\u00c8 come per i costumi, si lodano solo quelli d\u2019epoca perch\u00e9 sfarzosi mentre quelli dei nostri tempi, pi\u00f9 corrispondono al presente, pi\u00f9 vengono presi sottogamba.&nbsp;\u00c8 solo ignoranza, e poi i premi sono una cretinata\u00bb. La Tv gli piace: \u00abOggi puoi fare per il piccolo schermo cose fantastiche, ma non \u00e8 una gara col cinema. Hollywood non fa pi\u00f9 certi film di un tempo, c\u2019\u00e8 la crisi\u00bb.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Il regista di &#8220;The Blues Brothers&#8221; incontra il
