Il regista e sceneggiatore <strong>Drew Goddard<\/strong> ha presentato il suo <strong><em>Bad Times at the El Royale<\/em><\/strong> (<em>7 sconosciuti a El Royale<\/em>, nelle sale dal 25 ottobre) senza nascondere di aver omaggiato i padri delle atmosfere a tinte fortissime Tarantino e i fratelli Coen. Ad accompagnarlo alla kermesse la ventunenne attrice-cantante statunitense <strong>Cailee Spaeny<\/strong>, la pi\u00f9 giovane dello strepitoso cast formato da <strong>Jeff Bridges, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, Cynthia Erivo, Lewis Pullman, Chris Hemsworth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La storia si consuma tutta in una notte, alla fine degli anni Sessanta, quando un manipolo di sbandati all\u2019apparenza normali irrompono nell\u2019ormai fatiscente motel <em>El Royal<\/em> costruito a cavallo del confine tra California e Nevada. Una incessante pioggia torrenziale rende ancor pi\u00f9 claustrofobica la scena in cui si svolge in crescendo questa violenta, ma anche molto ironica e divertente pellicola, che incrocia i destini dei protagonisti, estranei tra loro finch\u00e8 un passato misterioso li porter\u00e0 a scoprire le carte in tavola, a mostrare il loro vero volto, costretti dall\u2019incalzare degli eventi a calare le maschere, dando vita a un\u2019escalation di azioni a sorpresa, imprevedibili e assai cruente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un film sulla dualit\u00e0, dove nessuno \u00e8 quello che sembra e dove il luogo dell\u2019azione riflette questa doppiezza. Una storia che parla anche di empatia, della disperata ricerca di redenzione prima che la vita venga spazzata via. Goddard ha voluto girare in pellicola, per non alterare colori e sapori dell\u2019epoca, con campi larghi alla Sergio Leone, e riprese in sequenza, per aiutare gli attori, cuore del film, &nbsp;e meglio coglierne ogni sfumatura. Anche in questo ha avuto ragione, evocando perfettamente le atmosfere anni sessanta, risvegliando e cogliendo il massimo del talento di ciascun interprete. Ha rispolverato anche figure inquietanti come il diabolico Charles Manson e le sue sette perch\u00e9 oggi come allora, ha spiegato, c\u2019\u00e8 molta \u201cmascolinit\u00e0 tossica\u201d. Maschilismo, sessismo, esistono da secoli ma finalmente si \u00e8 fatta luce su questi mali e bisogna continuare a combatterli.
