E\u2019 il programma della XXI edizione del <strong>MedFilm Festival<\/strong> che torna <strong>a Roma<\/strong> <strong>dal 6 al 13 novembre al Cinema Savoy e al Macro<\/strong>.<br>Un ricco cartellone di lungometraggi, corti e documentari con incontri di approfondimento, libri ed eventi speciali, che propone in apertura il film in concorso <strong><em>Mediterranea<\/em><\/strong> di <strong>Jonas Carpignano<\/strong>; <strong><em>Mustang<\/em><\/strong> di <strong>Deniz Gamze <em>Erg\u00fcven<\/em><\/strong> sulla condizione femminile in Turchia e <strong><em>The Lesson<\/em><\/strong> di <strong>Kristina Grozeva<\/strong> e <strong>Petar Valchanov<\/strong> sull\u2019adolescenza, l\u2019identit\u00e0 e il ruolo della scuola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tra gli eventi di spicco il focus sulla <strong>serialit\u00e0 televisiva israeliana<\/strong>, che vedr\u00e0 ospite il produttore e regista <strong>Hagai Levi<\/strong>, creatore di <em>In Treatment<\/em> e <em>The Affair<\/em>, con in anteprima internazionale la puntata pilota della miniserie <strong>The Accursed<\/strong>, docu-drama che racconta quattro personalit\u00e0 storiche della cultura israeliana, in bilico tra genialit\u00e0 e follia.<br>Tra i 13 film della sezione &nbsp;<strong>Perle: alla scoperta del nuovo cinema italiano<\/strong> <strong><em>Alicudi nel vento<\/em><\/strong> di <strong>Aurelio Grimaldi;<\/strong> <strong><em>Ges\u00f9<\/em><\/strong><em> <strong>\u00e8 morto per i peccati degli altri<\/strong><\/em> di <strong>Maria Arena<\/strong> che ci conduce nei vicoli di Catania, tra prostitute filosofe e trans in declino. <strong><em>Lampedusa<\/em><\/strong>, diretto dal duo <strong>Mangiarotti\/Fomeo<\/strong> sui migranti, storie di mare che non conoscono confini. <strong><em>Napolislam<\/em> <\/strong>di <strong>Ernesto Pagano<\/strong>, una Napoli inedita che un bel giorno si sveglia e si scopre islamica. Il turco <strong><em>Until I Lose My Breath<\/em> <\/strong>di <strong>Emine Emel Balci<\/strong> su una giovane operaria tessile che si trasforma da vittima in carnefice. E ancora, <strong><em>Parisienne<\/em><\/strong> di <strong>Danielle Arbid<\/strong> e la commedia palestinese <strong><em>Love, Theft and Other Entanglements<\/em><\/strong> di <strong>Muayad Alayan<\/strong>.<br>Negli undici documentari in concorso, passato, presente e (incerto) futuro si intrecciano senza requie in un\u2019area mediterranea che si allarga fino all\u2019Africa sahariana e al Medio Oriente, senza tralasciare l\u2019interno della penisola balcanica.
