La propongono <strong>Alessio Rigo De Righi<\/strong> e <strong>Matteo Zoppis<\/strong> nel loro <em><strong>Testa o croce?<\/strong><\/em>, nelle sale <strong>dal 2 ottobre<\/strong>. Magistrale l\u2019interpretazione dei protagonisti: una magnetica <strong>Nadia Yereszkiewicz <\/strong>e un magnetico <strong>Alessandro Borghi<\/strong> con uno straripante, stralunato <strong>John C. Reilly. <\/strong>A completare il cast <strong>Gianni Garko, Peter Lanzani, Mirko Artuso, Gabriele Silli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La storia \u00e8 ambientata agli inizi del &#8216;900, quando il <em>Wild West Show<\/em> di Buffalo Bill arriva a Roma per vendere agli italiani il mito della frontiera, a colpi di fucili a salve e spettacoli di cowboy. Durante una gara di doma la giovane moglie del signorotto locale si innamora del buttero che vince la sfida. In seguito all&#8217;omicidio del marito, Rosa e Santino fuggono insieme, ma sulla testa di lui viene messa una grossa taglia. Con Buffalo Bill sulle loro tracce, come in ogni ballata western che si rispetti, il destino lancia la moneta. E spesso, la verit\u00e0 resta sepolta sottoterra.<br>I western sono sempre stati uno specchio attraverso cui scorgere il contesto socioculturale in cui sono stati realizzati e anche questo film parla del mondo in cui viviamo: un mondo di false apparenze, individualista, <br>surreale, spesso ostile e malvagio, dove l\u2019unico sentiero verso la redenzione \u00e8 l\u2019amore.<br>Il cowboy, l\u2019eroe, viene messo in discussione e smontato pezzo dopo pezzo, fino a un ribaltamento totale. Girato in pellicola, alternando 35mm, Super 16 e digitale, per creare texture visive legate alle emozioni e ai punti di vista che esprimessero i diversi strati della storia: mitico, intimo, sognato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIl nostro film nasce da una passione profonda per le ballate popolari tramandate oralmente &#8211; spiegano i registi-, i racconti che da bambini ci venivano narrati come leggende di frontiera, dove la verit\u00e0 \u00e8 sempre incerta e si trasforma, diventando mito\u201d. Il loro intento era reinterpretare il genere in chiave italiana e contemporanea. \u201cIl Wild West Show di Buffalo Bill \u00e8 stato il punto di partenza, uno spettacolo itinerante che gi\u00e0 all\u2019epoca mescolava storia e finzione e costruiva miti attraverso la narrazione. Secondo i giornali dell\u2019epoca i butteri locali sconfissero gli americani in una gara di doma. Da l\u00ec, abbiamo immaginato un film che si costruisce come racconto epico e postmoderno, dove realt\u00e0 e finzione si confondono, e dove la narrazione stessa diventa parte del film \u2013 continuano i due autori-. Abbiamo girato tra il Lazio e la Maremma, tra paludi bonificate, montagne e mare.
