Ogni anno la manifestazione salentina propone due omaggi a grandi interpreti del cinema europeo con la retrospettiva dei loro film, scelti insieme al regista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bertrand Tavernier <\/strong>presenter\u00e0 <strong>la sera del 14 aprile <\/strong>il suo recente film <em><strong>Quai d&#8217;Orsay <\/strong><\/em>realizzato nel 2013, una sottile commedia satirica tratta dall&#8217;omonima graphic novel di culto di Christophe Blain e Abel Lanzac. Tra i suoi 10 i titoli in rassegna l\u2019 opera d\u2019esordio <em><strong>L&#8217;orologiaio di Saint Paul <\/strong><\/em>del 1974, tratto da Simenon, che segna l\u2019incontro con <strong>Philippe Noiret<\/strong>, destinato a diventare il suo attore feticcio. E&#8217; infatti sempre lui il protagonista anche di altri due film in rassegna a Lecce, <em><strong>Che la festa cominci <\/strong><\/em>del 1975 con Marina Vlady, ambientato nel primo Settecento; e <em><strong>Il giudice e l&#8217;assassino <\/strong><\/em>del 1976, ambientato alla fine dell\u2019Ottocento, con una giovanissima Isabelle Huppert accanto a Jean-Claude Brialy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Del 1980 \u00e8<em><strong> La morte in diretta<\/strong><\/em>, con Harvey Keitel e Romy Schneider, una preveggente analisi delle derive della televisione e dei media. Del 1981 \u00e8 <em><strong>Colpo di spugna<\/strong><\/em>, adattato da un romanzo di Jim Thompson, che mette in scena il Senegal degli anni Trenta e la sua passione per il noir. Da un romanzo di Pierre Bost, con numerose citazioni da Monet e Renoir, \u00e8 <em><strong>Una domenica in campagna <\/strong><\/em>dell\u201984, premiato al Festival di Cannes. Vincitore di numerosi premi, tra cui il C\u00e9sar della musica nel 1987, \u00e8 <strong><em>Round Midnight \u2013 A mezzanotte circa<\/em><\/strong>, pellicola sul jazz e in particolare sul &#8220;be-bop&#8221;, con Fran\u00e7ois Cluzet, Dexter Gordon, Sandra Reaves-Phillips, Philippe Noiret, opera che testimonia la sua profonda conoscenza della cultura e della tradizione americana. Con <em><strong>L&#8217;esca<\/strong><\/em>, allarmante ritratto di giovani disorientati, vince l&#8217;Orso d&#8217;Oro al Festival di Berlino. In una Louisiana devastata dall&#8217;uragano Katrina, Tavernier gira poi <em><strong>L&#8217;occhio del ciclone <\/strong><\/em>(2009), adattamento di un thriller di James Lee Burke con un grande Tommy Lee Jones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Figlio di immigrati turchi, <strong>Fatih Akin<\/strong>, nato ad Amburgo nel 1973, \u00e8 il primo regista tedesco ad aver vinto dopo 19 anni l\u2019Orso d\u2019Oro al Festival di Berlino con <em><strong>La sposa turca <\/strong><\/em>nel 2004, primo film della trilogia sull\u2019amore, la morte e il demonio, proseguita con <em><strong>Ai confini del paradiso <\/strong><\/em>nel 2007 e ora conclusa con <em><strong>Il pad<\/strong><\/em>re (The Cut) nelle sale con BIM dal 9 aprile. Oltre ai tre film saranno presentati anche film mai distribuiti in Italia come la sua opera d\u2019esordio <em><strong>Kurz und schmerzlos <\/strong><\/em>(Short Sharp Shock) del 1998; <em><strong>I&#8217;m Juli <\/strong><\/em>del 2000, <em><strong>Solino<\/strong><\/em>, girato nel 2002 tra il Salento e la Germania, il documentario del 2005 <em><strong>Crossing the Bridge &#8211; The Sound of Istanbul <\/strong><\/em>sulla scena musicale e culturale di Istanbul, <em><strong>Soul Kitchen<\/strong><\/em>, che nel 2009 si \u00e8 aggiudicato il Gran Premio della Giuria al Festival di Venezia e <em><strong>M\u00fcll im Garten Eden <\/strong><\/em>(Garbage in the Garden of Eden) del 2012,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bertrand Tavernier e Fatih Akin sono i
