L\u2019epopea rivoluzionaria di John Lennon e Yoko Ono \u00e8 raccontata nel film \u201cOne to One: John & Yoko<\/strong><\/em>\u201d diretto da Kevin MacDonald<\/strong> nelle sale solo dal 15 al 21 distribuito da Nexo Studios con Radio Capital e Mymovies. Un viaggio attraverso l\u2019essenza pi\u00f9 pura del pacifismo, la controcultura incendiaria della coppia e il celebre concerto del 1972 rivissuta attraverso materiale inedito, musica live, filmati casalinghi e le loro conversazioni intime con amici e collaboratori.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c8 l\u2019inizio degli anni \u201970 e\u00a0i due artisti\u00a0lasciano il Regno Unito per trasferirsi a\u00a0New York, il loro impegno politico e sociale \u00e8 incessante in quei mesi, al fianco di personaggi come Allen Ginsberg e Jerry Rubin, ma stanno anche cercando Kyoko, la figlia Yoko, e sono preoccupati per le intercettazioni dell\u2019FBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nel loro piccolo appartamento, che \u00e8 stato fedelmente riprodotto per il film, la tv \u00e8 la finestra sul mondo: le immagini della scena politica e sociale con gli orrori della guerra in Vietnam e le prime crepe del Watergate si rincorrono sullo schermo, alternandosi a jingle pubblicitari spensierati, come sorrisi forzati che non bastano a nascondere il malcontento del popolo che insorge.

Affascinati da un’inchiesta sui bambini del Willowbrook State School<\/em>, organizzano l\u2019evento benefico One to One Benefit Concert:<\/em> due concerti che si tengono il 30 agosto 1972 (pomeriggio e sera) al Madison Square Garden di New York con la Plastic Ono Elephant’s Memory Band e che rimarranno l\u2019unico live completo di Lennon dopo i Beatles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
