Gli U.S.A. sono la nazione in cui ogni anno muoiono pi\u00f9 persone causa ferite da armi da fuoco, quindi non stupisce che uno squilibrato qualsiasi possa ordinare addirittura via internet &#8220;giocattoli da guerra&#8221; giusto per divertirsi un po&#8217;, meglio se per fare fuoco contro bersagli in carne e ossa che fuggono terrorizzati. &#8220;Perch\u00e9 soprattutto deve essere divertente&#8221; come ci ricordano in uno dei momenti pi\u00f9 agghiaccianti del film i due baby killer. Con\u00a0<em>Bowling a Columbine<\/em>\u00a0stavamo dentro un documentario in cui il regista Michael Moore si batteva apertamente contro la &#8220;filosofia&#8221; made in U.S.A. riguardo l&#8217;indiscriminata vendita (leggi indiscriminato uso) delle armi.\u00a0<em>Elephant<\/em>\u00a0invece d\u00e0 la sensazione di non prendere alcuna parte, di non schierarsi n\u00e9 con i killer, n\u00e9 contro essi, scegliendo la freddezza nella caratterizzazione dei personaggi e il distacco da questi per non giudicare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ma pu\u00f2 davvero il regista di un film come questo mantenersi &#8216;super partes&#8217;? Quel suo continuo procedere all&#8217;indietro nella narrazione per raccontare altre esistenze, quanto pi\u00f9 possibili, \u00e8 come voler fermare il tempo per schivare quel pugno allo stomaco che arriva inesorabile, per bloccare quello scoppio di violenza aberrante, insostenibile perch\u00e9 incomprensibile. C&#8217;\u00e8 poco sangue, ma tante vite spezzate per sempre, ragazzi che cadono come burattini a cui hanno tagliato i fili. Van Sant pare voler eternare quel finale senza speranza, se non quelle vittime che abilmente si confondono con i carnefici. Sappiamo che questo non \u00e8 solo un film, sappiamo che quel dolore quasi fisico provato assistendo alla strage rester\u00e0 perch\u00e9 cos\u00ec sinistramente reale. Ovviamente la colpa di tale esaltata violenza \u00e8 dei film e dei videogame, deve esserlo, se no chi guadagnerebbe pi\u00f9 con le armi? \u00c8 per questo che troviamo in questo piccolo miracolo di celluloide il terrore di quell&#8217;elefante (leggi problema), cos\u00ec enorme e ingombrante, che sta l\u00ec davanti agli occhi di tutti noi ma nonostante la sua mole resta volutamente
