Due candidature agli Oscar, per la strepitosa interpretazione di Meryl Streep e per il trucco, che l\u2019ha resa identica all\u2019ex Primo Ministro britannico che oggi, a ottantasette anni, conduce vita ritirata a Londra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un film che sfiora soltanto gli importanti eventi politici di cui fu protagonista la prima donna Premier della Gran Bretagna dal 1979 al 1990 (dalle sue prime lotte alla Camera, alla cruenta guerra contro l\u2019Argentina per il possesso delle Isole Falkland, alla sconfitta dei minatori, all\u2019introduzione della \u201cPoll Tax\u201d per tutti, poveri e ricchi) e che, mostrandocela ormai anziana e non pi\u00f9 mentalmente lucida, tenta di far passare in secondo piano i motivi che hanno portato le comunit\u00e0 di minatori del nord del paese, coinvolte nei devastanti scioperi degli anni \u201980, a disertare il film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un film sul potere e sul prezzo che questo comporta, stemperato per\u00f2 dall\u2019aspetto umano e romantico che sottolinea la vita di una donna complessa, che riusc\u00ec a farsi largo in un mondo dominato dagli uomini con uno stile sempre pi\u00f9 autocratico e scelte politiche che&nbsp; lacerarono la nazione. \u00ab\u00c8 la storia di una grande leader, meravigliosa e imperfetta \u2013 spiega la regista -, una storia sul potere, sul tracollo, sull\u2019epilogo della vita di un individuo che ha condotto un\u2019esistenza di traboccante intensit\u00e0 sul piano professionale che all\u2019improvviso finisce.&nbsp;Non si tratta di condividere o meno un programma politico \u2013 mette le mani avanti -, ma di saggiare il fervore delle sue convinzioni e la sua inflessibile ferocia, senza giudicare la sua politica\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00abVolevo mostrare una persona nelle diverse fasi della vita \u2013 conferma la sceneggiatrice Abi Morgan -. L\u2019aspetto interessante della Thatcher \u00e8 la tensione tra la sfera pubblica e quella privata\u00bb.&nbsp;La Streep, racconta la Lloyd, \u00e8 andata ben oltre l\u2019imitazione. \u00ab\u00c8 entrata in empatia col personaggio, ha immaginato se stessa anziana e Margaret prima che diventasse \u2018la Thatcher\u2019\u00bb. Tre ore di trucco al giorno per l\u2019attrice americana, costretta a lavorare anche molto sulla voce, sulla dizione, sull\u2019intonazione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E grande risalto alla sua storia d\u2019amore col marito, Denis Thatcher, sposato nel 1951 e morto nel 2003, ma che lei nel film vedra\u2019 al suo fianco ancora per molto tempo. \u201cE\u2019 una meravigliosa storia d\u2019amore \u2013 ammette la regista -in cui tutti possono identificarsi quando perdono una persona cara e si guardano indietro\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nei
